HOW TO DECORATE A SMALL 'MINIMAL' ENTRY
CÓMO DECORAR UNA ENTRADA PEQUEÑA Y 'MINIMALISTA'.
Esta semana os traigo nuevas imágenes de nuestra "entrada" (por llamar a este espacio de alguna manera, ya que en nuestra casa se entra directamente al salón). Y es que, durante la reforma que realizamos al comprarla, decidimos tirar el tabique de la entrada para dejar el salón más amplio, diáfano y luminoso, como podéis ver en el plano...

Durante los últimos años, hemos utilizado la balda que tenemos sobre el radiador que queda junto a la puerta de entrada como zona de "recibidor", aunque como veis, todo queda dentro del salón. Y por eso, para diferenciar esta zona del resto del salón, hace unos días decidimos pintar la pared en un tono gris piedra muy bonito (de Bruguer), que aporta elegancia y personalidad a este rincón, y además acorta visualmente el salón, ya que es muy alargado. ¡Aquí lo tenéis en detalle!
// During the last years, we´ve used the shelf on the radiator (next to the entrance door) as a "hall" area, although as you can see, everything is inside the room. And so, to differentiate this area from the rest of the room, a few days ago we decided to paint the wall in a very beautiful stone gray tone, which brings elegance and personality to this corner, and also visually shortens the room, since it is very elongated. Para decorar esta zona de entrada, nosotros hemos mantenido el mismo estilo minimalista y neutro de siempre, con el espejo (de IKEA), unas cajas con tapa para guardar las llaves, el pájaro negro decorativo (inspirado en el icónico Eames House Bird), una maceta y una vela aromática (de H&M Home). Pero si os gusta un estilo más alegre y colorido, una buena opción es empapelar la pared con un diseño que os guste y elegir todos los complementos a juego.
// To decorate this area, we´ve maintained the same minimalist and neutral style as always, with the mirror (from IKEA), some boxes with a lid to store the keys, a decorative black bird (inspired by the iconic Eames House Bird), a white pot and an aromatic candle (H&M Home). But if you like a more cheerful and colorful style, a good option is to install some wallpaper with a great design that you love, and after choose all the matching accessories.
Ya veis que todo lo que hacemos en casa son pequeños cambios que no cuestan mucho, así que si tenéis un recibidor pequeño o un pasillo estrecho, espero que estas ideas os hayan gustado y os sirvan para transformarlo en un espacio más funcional y bonito, pero siempre siguiendo vuestro estilo. Me encantan los detalles tan bonitos que has puesto Laura, tan elegantes pero a la vez sencillos y que lo hacen muy acogedor. Y el pequeño Juan Palomo es lo más lindo que hay...
