DIY: 3 IDEAS TO DECORATE WITH WALLPAPER

// There are already a few days left for our holidays, but before I wanted to share with you something that someone have asked me a lot lately, and that's the different ways to decorate with wallpaper. So I prefer to use wallpaper as 'picture' in a frame, or also to paper the bottom of some furniture such as a cabinet or a bookcase, then I leave below several examples for you...

1) Wallpaper as a "picture" in a frame
Maybe you'll remember how I decorated my daughter's room last Christmas (see here). Well, the picture you see on the wall is a reused IKEA frame, and the "picture" is a piece of geometric wallpaper that I had left over. I cut it for the background and then printed the bear figure in black and white, and pasted it on the paper. Don´t you think it looks great? It´s so a cheap idea and easy to make and change whenever you want, with any paper and a picture, a photo, a nice phrase or the letter of your children´s name.

2) Wallpaper to line furniture and cabinet
Another option that I usually use a lot, is to line some cabinets or small furniture with a beautiful wallpaper. This kind of paper is stronger and more resistant than others, and also you can use glue spray to stick it. Below you have the geometric paper in white, gray and silver that I used to line the IKEA shelf that serves as head of our daughter´s bed.

3) Wallpaper for the office cork
Another idea that I think you can use is to lining with wallpaper your cork or moodboard, to put some photos or work notes in your workspace. My cork was ugly brown, but with a hand of white paint and this blanck and white wallpaper (it´s the same one I used in my daughter´s room) it looks great and follows the decorative style of my office.

// On the other hand, I'm thinking about all changes I want to make at home after Holidays, so I'm going to leave you three nature-inspired papers that I've seen on the 70's Papers website, because I might be encouraged to decorate the wall of our entrance (see here). I love the first wallpaper with vegetable motifs because it´s like a negative of a photo, and I think it would look great on the wall, so elegant and spectacular!.
