AUGUST LIFESTYLE: TRIP TO HUELVA, DOÑANA NATURAL PARK AND LAST STOP IN TRUJILLO

We're back from vacation! It's been a beautiful and busy month in which we haven't stopped moving, first enjoying a few days of vacation on the beaches of Huelva and in the Doñana Natural Park (a protected area worth visiting for its dunes and marshes, home to a multitude of wild animals and birds that come from all over Europe and Africa), and then in the beautiful and charming town of Trujillo, where we stopped on the way to Madrid...

LIFESTYLE AGOSTO: VIAJE A HUELVA, PARQUE NATURAL DE DOÑANA Y ÚLTIMA PARADA EN TRUJILLO

// ¡Ya estamos de vuelta de las vacaciones! Ha sido un mes muy bonito e intenso en el que no hemos parado de movernos, primero disfrutando de unos días de vacaciones en las playas de Huelva y en el Parque Natural de Doñana (un lugar protegido que merece la pena visitar para visitar sus dunas y marismas, y que albergan gran multitud de animales salvajes y aves que llegan de todas las partes de Europa y África), y después en el precioso y encantador pueblo de Trujillo, en el que hicimos parada de camino a Madrid...

DOÑANA NATURAL PARK. Doñana is a Spanish natural area located between the Andalusian provinces of Huelva, Seville, and Cádiz. It includes both Doñana National Park (created in 1969, with restricted access and only official tourist routes) and Doñana Natural Park (created in 1989, with free access). Its vast expanse of sand dunes, forests, and marshes is home to a wide variety of wildlife, and during the winter it is also a stopover for numerous species of aquatic birds migrating south.

// EL PARQUE NATURAL DE DOÑANA. Doñana es un espacio natural español situado entre las provincias andaluzas de Huelva, Sevilla y Cádiz. Incluye el Parque Nacional de Doñana (creado en 1969, y cuyo acceso está restringido al público y sólo se puede visitar contratando rutas turísticas oficiales) el Parque Natural de Doñana (creado en 1989 y que es de acceso libre y gratuito). Su gran extensión de dunas de arena, bosque y marismas acoge a una gran variedad de flora y fauna salvaje, y durante el invierno también es lugar de paso para numerosas especies de aves acuáticas que emigran hacia el Sur.

During those days, we also visited the city of Palos de la Frontera, which is world-famous for being the starting point from which Columbus set sail and which marked the Discovery of America in 1492. There, we visited the Muelle de las Carabelas (Caravel Dock) and its Museum, which recreates the site and the three life-size vessels used by Columbus and his crew for the voyage, and which is a true journey through the history of two worlds, Europe and America...

// Durante esos días también visitamos la ciudad de Palos de la Frontera, que es mundialmente conocida por ser el punto de partida desde el que salió Colón y que significó el Descubrimiento de América en el año 1492. Allí visitamos el Muelle de las Carabelas y su Museo, que recrea el lugar y las tres embarcaciones a tamaño real que utilizó Colón y su tripulación para el viaje, y que supone un verdadero paseo por la historia de dos mundos, Europa y América...
