MY FIVE FAVORITE PIECES OF CERAMIC TO DECORATE THE HOME
If there is something that definitely drives me crazy... it's ceramic pieces. And I love everything about them, their touch, their volume and how the light affects them according to the time of day. So today I'm not only going to tell you which are my five favorite pieces, but also some of their history and how they came to our hands...
MIS CINCO PIEZAS FAVORITAS DE CERÁMICA PARA DECORAR LA CASA
// Si hay algo que me vuelve definitivamente loca... son las piezas de cerámica. Y es que adoro todo en ellas, su tacto, su volumen y cómo incide la luz en ellas según la hora del día. Así que hoy no sólo os voy a contar cuales son mis cinco piezas favoritas, si no también algo de su historia y cómo llegaron a nuestras manos...
1. JARRONCITO MINI (H&M Home). Este pequeño jarroncito de color
beige fue la primera cosa que compré después de estar confinados en casa al
principio de la pandemia. Y es que sus formas suaves y redondeadas me
transmitieron tanta calma y serenidad que ahora siempre lo tengo cerca cuando
trabajo en casa...
1. MINI VASE (H&M Home). This little beige vase was the first
thing I bought after being homebound at the beginning of the pandemic. And
its soft and rounded shapes gave me so much calm and serenity that now I
always have it close when I work at home...
2. PAREJA DE PLATOS 'IBICENCOS' (Pomax). Los adquirimos en COCOQ, una tienda de decoración ibicenca, durante las preciosas vacaciones que pasamos los tres en la isla de
Ibiza cuando cumplí 40 años ¡y nos enamoramos a primera vista de ellos por su
minimalismo y elegancia!. Así que si os fijáis bien los veréis en muchas de
mis fotos...
2. PAIR OF 'IBIZA' DISHES (Pomax). We acquired them in COCOQ, an Ibizan decoration store, during the beautiful holidays that the three of us spent on the island
of Ibiza when I turned 40 years old, and we fell in love with them at first
sight for their minimalism and elegance!. So you'll see them in many of my
photos...
3. VAJILLA VINTAGE AÑOS 70-80 (Santa Clara). Esta vajilla me llegó por herencia de un familiar muy querido para mí, y es mi favorita a la hora de decorar la mesa en momentos especiales o cuando le quiero dar un toque elegante, como por ejemplo en la pasada cena de Navidad (ver aquí)...
3. VINTAGE TABLEWARE YEARS 70-80 (Santa Clara). This tableware came to me by inheritance from a very dear person to me, and it's my favorite when decorating the table in special moments or when I want to give it an elegant touch, such as at last Christmas dinner (see here)...
4. BOTE DE MOSTAZA FRANCESA (Edmond Fallot). Este pequeño bote de mostaza francesa nos llegó en una cesta regalo de Navidad, y nos gustó tanto que ahora lo usamos en la cocina para los cubiertos de madera... ¡y es que siempre es buena idea reutilizar los envases bonitos!.
4. POT OF FRENCH MUSTARD (Edmond Fallot). This small pot of French mustard came to us in a gift Christmas basket, and we liked it so much that we use it now in the kitchen for wooden cutlery... and it's always a good idea to reuse the beautiful containers!.
5. JUEGO DE PLATOS BLANCOS (Ikea). Este un conjunto, formado por tres platos hondos de distintos tamaños (en blanco o negro), fue una edición especial que Ikea sacó hace unos años, y como los anteriores, también los uso muchísimo para crear detalles decorativos en casa...
5. SET OF WHITE PLATES (Ikea). This set, made up of three soup plates of different sizes (in black or white), was a special edition that Ikea released a few years ago, and I also use them a lot to create decorative details at home...
¡Pues estas han sido mis cinco piezas favoritas de cerámica que más usamos en

Preciosos detalles Laura, y las fotos como siempre maravillosas. Personalmente me encanta la cerámica y siempre estoy comprando cositas de menaje nuevas para ir combinando en casa. Beso E.B.
